whats the best thing to use for cleaning and painting the lovely 16' 5 spoke rims>?thinking of paiting them black or gunmetal, my mkIII is blue.... wasnt answered in previous thread... also, did they only come stock on 90-91?

Either black or gunmetal would look good, though personally I would go with gunmetal. Is your Supra light blue or dark blue? The 5-spoke rims were standard on the 1991-1992 Supras. 1986.5-1990 had sawblades.

didnt know how to bump... and its kinda a dark blue... one of the guys has it here, (92turbo4life)on their main pic for posting ...same color, i like the original color but i wanna change it up

peronally.. and this is just me. Gunmetal.

as for cleaning, I'd use some aircraft paint remover and a brillow pad. I havn't done it personally, but thats probably the approach I'd take.

Aerosol Aircraft remover/paint stripper is the way to go...you can get it at Autozone...Although I don''t think you can spray it on the center caps, if they are plastic, it will melt them, just sand/scratch them up and paint...

If your car is dark blue, i would go with a glossy black...but that's just me OF COURSE!
