An is not a size...it's a type of hose clamp system...different hose diameters require different size an fittings...
I'd say 12 foot pounds would be good for those fittings if they are alum..
Dude...forget the word backpressure!!! Back pressure doesn't exist!!! If you actually read everything in this thread you would realize that would have no negetive effects on exhaust pressure/flow as this valve is meant for low rpm low exaust manifold pressures....it only redirects the low...
Could have bent the shaft on the trans...could have blown some crank bearings...warped the flywheel...etc
You need to break out a dial indicator and check everything
How much is insurance gonna go up with the new car? How much hp can the awd handle...how much will it cost to beef up the drivetrain...how easy is it to work on...how expensive are parts....

Ok so I picked up a set of probes today...On the intake side of a few pistons where the valve clearance is cut...the clearance is so close to the edge of the that it's damn near knife edged...also on two of the pistons that clearance actually goes out beyond the outside edge.....meaning that if...

I have a feeling arp mains are cheaper than new toyota mains....and I don't have the old ones...guess I'll try to get ahold of a friend who has them.

Ok so as some know...
I've started the long bank draining process of going n/a-t....my shortblock is at the shop now...talked to him today and so far the crank is in mint condition but needs a polishing...I will know if it's straight tomorrow but odds are it is...block has yet to be tanked...
I want you to think long and hard about this....when you realize how dumb that was please correct it!
Hint: what do you always start in first gear and not in 5th?...
