Make sure the nut isn't binding....also with one hand wiggle the peddle and with the other hand spin the shaft....can also wrap a pair of pliers with a rag and turn the shaft if needed but make sure not to scratch the shaft.
I keep my peddle with about 1/2" of free play and only adjust till I...
If the block wasn't surfaced for a metal gasket then yes you should lap the block with lapping compound and a lapping block or a huge honeing stone....then clean it up with degreaser...
yeah ive never done it...but i have pulled the dash out of a supra and it looks like a royal pain in the ass!!!!!! getting the dash out was a pain in the ass in itself!
reach up in behind the clutch pedal and break the nut loose on the shaft....then spin the shaft till you get a little free play (spec in the trsm)....then tighten the nut back down.....
i personally dont tighten the nut and just adjust it once a month or so but it doesnt lose adjustment very...

Means you generally have to pay for that....the bearings are fine right now and do not need replaced so I'd rather not replace them...but if I have too then so be it....just trying to avoid a big bill.

No...supras do not take struts!!!! Struts bolt to the wheel hubs and turn with the wheels....supras use a coilover "shock"!
You sir need to study more and not give advice on topics that you have no clue about!

Putting drop springs on stock shocks is full of fail....they will blow quicker than two shakes of a jackrabbits ass!
