There is nothing difficult about this. - Unbolt the clutch slave - Remove the inspection plate - Reach in and grab the fork - Pull - Wriggle a bit if you have to - The fork will come out - Slide transmission toward rear of car - Remember to remove the shifter from the top first.

I expect he was using it to pull real information - keep in mind, the engine and computer in this car are not from a Mk3 Supra, so everything you know about what works and what doesn't pretty much gets tossed out the nearest window. ;)
