    Dimmer switch compatability:

It plugs in, sure. Whether it works or not, that's another question.

hmm need help,. hitting fuel cut at STOCK Boost levels

A leak in the exhaust will not cause FC. FC is virtually always caused by a boost leak. If you're stock everything outside the engine, chances are you have a cracked intercooler pipe or a split coupler.

Ok, this aside, because I still haven't taken any pics yet, I did some other work today. Took pics of one side, both are in and look awesome now. Old and busted: New hotness: Oh, and I installed my new switch panel, while I had the door panels off.

40amp CDS fuse... what is it for?

Thanks again, JJ. What I wouldn't give for a version of the TEWD / TSRM that was text searchable... Well, that doesn't involve me retyping it, anyway! :D

40amp CDS fuse... what is it for?

Thanks JJ. I'm sure that probably made sense to some engineer in Japan 20 years ago... but it still looks like bad cryptography to me! :D

He did change these, evidently, but I'm going to have to do it again... there's NO WAY I'm getting those seals off in one piece. :(

40amp CDS fuse... what is it for?

Even my copy of the TEWD just shows a fuse that goes to the label CDS, then dead ends. Same as it does with the ABS, but at least that one is obvious. Anyone know what it's for? I had to cannibalize it to replace an AM2 fuse that I popped, but I can't find anything that doesn't work anymore...

How to remove the headliner from under the targa?

I'm trying to pull the headliner off the targa roof, in preparation for putting a new one on. However, it doesn't seem to want to come off in any direction. Any tips appreciated!

    K&N or Spectre

How exactly do you measure 'filters very well'? There is research available that shows K&N filters do *not* work very well. If you have contradictory evidence, I'd be very interested to see it.

    need expert help

Not a good idea. Turbo should be the last item on the list, and for good reason. Without the electronics / fuel to support it, you're going to run into fuel cut in a big way all the time.

    7m maximum RPM

Maximum done was over 10k. However, keep in mind, max does not equal reliable, and from what I recall, the guy who did this didn't care about longevity.

Need help with BOV installation - Vancouver!!

Assuming you are mounting this on an otherwise stock engine, sounds like he's got the steps pretty much nailed. If it's a stock engine, you either need to upgrade your intercooler pipes to hardpipes and weld the flange to them, or weld it to a short piece of pipe and replace one of the plastic...
