IMO, holding your hand over the radiator and GUESSING is more accurate than the stock gauge. There's nothing wrong with Autometer.

Remember that point I was making about the stock gauge? 3p141592654, a member here went to the effort to actually map out how accurate it is. Check this graph: See what I mean about useless? Toyota engineered it this way on purpose, because they know from experience that designing gauges...

If you're pulling the engine, I HIGHLY suggest pulling both the engine and tranny. If, however, you're just dropping the tranny for a clutch job or something, it's still way faster to drop the tranny.

I crack them loose from the top using a box end wrench and some lube on my left arm. Even with the lube I always seem to end up with a few deep scratches in my arm. Then I use several wobble extensions, a wobble, and I curse a lot getting them the rest of the way out from underneath the car.

Make sure you understand what you are getting. The NA version has a different engine, brakes, wheels... trying to turn an NA into a true Turbo model is quite the task.
