Cool now when you say the wideband runs through the maft does that mean I will not need the wideband controller or the gauge itself? Sorry I am still in the learning process of tuning.

I know its gonna be custom ic piping but am i gonna have to relocate any of that as well? I believe Grim said to use the stock fender hole which leads to the intake but i think the main problem i am gonna have is turbo to ic? SHIT!
Aaron didn't knock the MAFT when I spoke to him either, but I knew after that conversation that I eventually wanted to go standalone. He didnt knock the maft at all said it is a good unit but can only do so much
You can convert to speed density using the stock pump and injectors. Speed density based tuning doesn't demand any more fuel than the MAF/AFM based tuning. It is my understanding that the AEM software has a wizard will allow you to create a base map using whatever injectors you want/have.is it possible that if i absolutely needed to drive the car that i could run a speed density setup on the stock fuel system, stock pump and injectors?
Usually cars manufactured in or after October are considered to be part of the next model year. For instance, 10/87 might be considered to be a 1988 year model. It wouldn't be that difficult to drop the glove box and look at the ECU connectors. Someone else might have an easier way to check, but for the kind of money you'll be spending on the EMS I'd want to see for myself.does my production date make a difference on the ems?
