I had what sounded like a knock, it ended up fixing itself. I'm not sure what yours is.. but it doesnt really sound like knock to me?

I don't like them, but I love 5 spokes.. and they've gotta have a lip if you're dropping that much money.. you could do a lot better IMHO.

If it started right up after you re-installed the battery that means that there is something wrong with your battery terminals, and you just repositioned them in just the right way so they could flow current. Corrosion is probably blocking the flow. Could be the battery, but first things...

I love my car, the only trouble its ever given me was my fault to begin with. Even if it was OEM, I just say.. hmm.. I should have forseen this. lol.

I forgot the RTV all together.. this was a year ago. No leaks yet :) (however I would NOT recommend this) It's too early, This thread scared me.. I thought he was trying to use RTV sealant as a head gasket:cry:

I have never heard anything like this.. anyone as bold to try it? Congrats BTW on the running car, I did the same thing with my FPR :(

with 550's and lex JAV is correct.. he'll need to have a good tune to pass emissions. Lex and 550's often run pig rich. check for boost leaks too, that will also help with emissions.
