yup, sure is. There is a tiny ammound of scoring on one cylender wall, I'll have to take it by a machine shop and see what they say.

Yea, I'd think so. I've got a spare motor I'm rebuilding because of my ol' blowby/ piston ring problem and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna stick with the stockers. They've handled a lot of my beating so far. The only reason I have blowby issues is because I f'd up the freaking PCV system a long time...

But my question is will they be any better than stock or just an equivilant?

Yea.. they took 3 weeks to get me a diaphram for a BOV, all they had to do was ship the piece.

Same problem I have.. presumably, in my case, worn or shot piston rings.

I wont hurt anything as long as it isn't leaking boost, or broken. I wouldn't doubt that its leaking now tho.. (doesnt have the pressure in the diphram from vacum line to hold it shut).

Sounds awesome.. but dumb it down for me a little.. this is good cost wise.. obviously. What does it do for durability and performance?

About the BOV over the turbo.. the factory heatshield will make a world of difference.. even if you have to cut off the back because of the downpipe. It should be fine with a heatshield but without it you might burn a hole in the diaphram of your BOV. Just a heads up. Car looks nice!

Don't laugh but I think I'm gonna try it.. its worth the gamble if it works like the video. lol. It looks like it would work fine for "welding" BOV flanges.. but difficult for fabricating pipes. The video makes it look amazing.
