the only thing that has changed is that i have a k&n air filter instead of that shitty white one
running at 10psi , with a full 3in exhuast including elbow
so far for engine work well i bought the car with 28k miles, car had 51k at the time i did the conversion. I replaced the HG with a new oem one torqued down to 85 on arp studs. (the old headgasket was perfect still, but i wanted to make sure, so i just replaced it anyway) I am running on 7mgte...
i just noticed on my way to work i have a 50 mile trip, the first 20 miles or so the car is boosting great, then soon after it all goes down hill to the point where when i floor it it sounds like the engine is growling or making much more noise than it should. i will go over each coupler...
it could be booost leak but whenever i test it everything is fine (this is when the engine is cold and i can touch the turbo) it seems as tho once the car heats up forget bout it.. 5psi all over again
