thanks!
correct, w/ the ems you dont have to use the idle validation switch.
either will work, i had just prefered to use the ford tps for a couple reasons.
- with the front face intake you have to cut and extend the wiring anyway
- the ford tps is much smaller and cleaner looking...
i made a writeup using the ford tps, and jimi made one for adapting the stock tps.
here is my writeup, and includes pics and writeup from jimi's.

i might add, the 75mm non oem have a tendency to whistle at idle. the design of the...
nice. id like to see a better pic of the front bars thru the dash.
i like swing outs, much easier to get in and out. just often not used due to the added expense. i didnt see you post if this was a ms or cm cage. just curious which you went with.
btw, those new wheels in the rear look...

i was talking about the lc-1 and tapping into the cig lighter power wire to power the wideband, not the lm-1 where it actually plugs into it. altho, i too have seen problems w/ that as well. what will happen is you will get an error if the wideband doesnt see a high enough voltage...
yeah i like innovate too. logworks program it comes with is awesome.
only thing a little bit of a pain w/ the innovate is it doesnt self calibrate and real voltage sensitive. if you do the calibration right, you dont have to worry about it. for the voltage sensitivity, hook it up to a real...
w/ pipes that not a bad deal in my opinion. i paid $900 for my previous setup.
to clean it up, all you need is some scotchbrite pads, fine sandpaper, and some polish. id recommend real polish w/ the pad and rouge.
yeah thats the race disc. does it still have the stock pressure plate or the act heavy duty?
personally, esp considering you are stock, id pull it out and sell it.
if you do keep it, id consider bypassing the neutral safety switch. it isnt healthy on the motor to start the car w/ the...
precision builds their turbos, but yes they use garrett components, or their own.
42/42r can be made to fit inside the hood.
i cant remem off hand, but believe its a 71mm that is big as you can go in an S cover. past that, you'll have to run an H cover (4" in, 3" out comp cover)...
bfg g-force sport. 255/50/16. badass tire, not too spendy.
there are a handful of others that make that size, including drag radials. not super common tho, but can be found.
ok, i thought you were saying since he had tt wheels then he could use smaller spacers to sit them at the same width as yours.
i was just saying, even tho they are tt wheels, the width and offset is the same as the na ones you are running. so his would sit identical to yours if he used the...
i understand what you are saying. you can use the same as you, but would stick out more. are we not talking about the same thing?
what i was getting at is the width and offset is the same for na fronts and tt fronts. am i just confused what you are getting at? im not talking about the...
why the difference? i thought the na mkiv were 16x8 +50. thats the same as the mkiv fronts (17x8 +50). the difference is the na mkiv are 16x9 rear whereas the tt are 17x9.5
project kics
very high quality, a lot of high hp mkiv run them.
i thought borhor used 15mm. he'll chime in sometime im sure.
anyway, here is the pic he posted
it was no problem kurt. was glad to be able to hang out, just would have been a lot cooler for things to go like clockwork. i should have never expected that tho lol.
did you want me to source the suspension parts for you still? or do you have that covered already?
