I'm sure the guys with the mkiv tt wheels know that the front offset sucks. I'm wondering what size spacer I should get. I was thinking around 12mm. But, I don't want it to be unsafe at all and I would like to stay away from the ones that bolt the hub with different bolts. Thanks.

Here is a pic to help me chose the right ones.

20mm is needed. I forgot the brand BorHor bought. But its perfect. Its a spacer with lugs.

Damn, that was quick Kyle. Maybe BorHor will chime in and show some pics. My question is, will it be safe and not wobble or shimmy at all?

That is 20 in the front = ) 15 in the rear but since he is TT rims 15 will be even more flush then mine if you need pics look in my build thread. there are a bunch in the last few pages

Yea, that definitely looks a lot better. What about the back to make it flush. It isn't that bad looking right now, but it too is sunk in just a little bit.

So, 15mm in the front and what do you think would be good for the rear?

do 20mm in front or even 25mm. in the rear if you want to use project kic spacers use 15mm. but a 10mm with extended studs will work nice too.

why the difference? i thought the na mkiv were 16x8 +50. thats the same as the mkiv fronts (17x8 +50). the difference is the na mkiv are 16x9 rear whereas the tt are 17x9.5

yeah so there is that extra .25 in sticking out that way you can run a lower spacer or just run the same as me just sticking out more. Oh and fender rolling is needed if you are as low as I am. All my lips are getting hit here and there.

Cool, thanks a lot. BTW, I misread your post about the 15mm for the rear. I thought you were talking about the front.

Now with the extended studs, will it be safe and smooth?

Ummmmmmmm I dunno. make you you get the right spacers I guess.. or else buy Project Kics 15mm and be super flush, because I dont think there is room on the rear of the rim to use the 10mm Kics spacer.

well thats why i said use the same as me lol.

i understand what you are saying. you can use the same as you, but would stick out more. are we not talking about the same thing?

what i was getting at is the width and offset is the same for na fronts and tt fronts. am i just confused what you are getting at? im not talking about the rear, i know thats different.

edit: and yes projec kic are very high quality and have their own studs. what isnt safe is the thick ones that do not have studs and use the stock studs. there isnt enough thread contact. the only downfall at all is maybe slightly more wheel bearing wear, but i dont think its gonna be enough to make a difference.

^ I dont get what you are trying to say.. the width and the offsets are the same in the front. I was telling him what spacers would make it flush. 20mm would be flush with the fender lip, and 25 would be closer to the end of the fender which would make it really really flush. Is that what you were wondering? I am not really sure what point you are getting too sorry.

ok, i thought you were saying since he had tt wheels then he could use smaller spacers to sit them at the same width as yours.

i was just saying, even tho they are tt wheels, the width and offset is the same as the na ones you are running. so his would sit identical to yours if he used the same spacers as you.

i hope that makes sense lol.
