You do not tighten the studs into the block....you screw them in with your fingers and that's it...put the head on and tighten the nut per directions!
Do not use any tools to install the studs.
yeah I tend to always have my phone pulled up to the tsrm while playing with the poopra but the net is so damn slow....I brought this to his attention and he seems pretty interested...we emailed back and forth and for about 2 weeks I didn't hear anything till he emailed me tonight informing me...
I have been talking to the owner of the tsrm online and asked him if he would make an app for the iPhone....well after a week he just email me about 20min ago saying it looks as though you need a mac to write the program...

It can be done sure...will it increase bottom end performance? Yeah a tad.....is it worth the overall problems associated with higher compression? No.
No....not going to explain why as it's so basic that you can research it yourself..
All I'll say is it's stupid to increase compression on a turbo car.
No the only way timing would be off is if the key broke on the belt pulley.....
As far as lucky goes, I honestly can't believe no damage to the crank was done....I personally would start asking questions on how they fixed the key way...sounds like a jb weld fix to me!
They can shave the caps and bring the bore back to standard spec. Same with rods....
Generally the crank pins and journals only vary a few .0001's and so they will polish the bigger ones a bit more as polishing does remove metal.
And no it isn't alot of work to resurface a crank....takes...
generally the cams dont much effect oil pressure....the pressure readings come from the main journals and not the head.....and if it makes you feel any better, ive never seen a mint condition used head before....every head ive ever seen had scoring....the way the head is designed its damn near...
cause with the damage on the snout then you wont be able to get a new pulley on...not only that but the key way needs welded and recut so a new key will stay in and keep the pulley aligned....you cant build up weld and regrind the snout with it in the block.....cutting a new halfmoon key is a...
