Got some stuff from Watson today. Bellhousing, rear sump oil pick up, dipstick/tube, baffle, and some gaskets. :)
Hopefully going to make some real progress in the next few days.
It said the same thing in the 2jz manual but my 2jz was a 12mm. Again buy that tool from Snap-on or some other high end tool dealer. I shredded the teeth on a Pep Boys brand 12mm 12 point torque.
I have stumbled upon something kind of interesting. Never heard of it before. Anyways, Is it possible to use a 1jz intake manifold with 2jzge lower runners for an FFIM for a 2jzge?
Finding a 12mm 12-point allen is kind of difficult. Well it was for me atleast. I had to borrow one from a machine shop. Couldn't find it at Harbor freight, Sears, Napa. Got some at Pep Boys but the head bolt shredded the teeth.
Its not a pain in the ass, its an absolute BLAST! Skyline is the funniest car i've ever driven; and i've driven more exotics, euros, and japanese cars than i could think about. Used to work for a European Exotic shop.
Made more progress today! :)
Had some trouble last night with timing. When ever I tried to time it, I would spin the motor over once or even 2 revolutions and it would be 5degrees off on the the crank. I got it though.
I bought the underdrive pulley kit from Driftmotion. FTW...
