i have a southbend thats damn near identical to this clutchmasters, and i LOVEEEEEEEEE it. it grabs really good, and its a pretty light pedal. the disc has super smooth engagement and doesnt just GRAB.
what i dont get is why didnt toyota make it a straight through design like most other turbos? and could you just weld shut one ends, and then get another to put it on the other side? and it should cool the turbo better too... thats just my thoughts/ideas
i would hope so... as 14.6 is the 'perfect' mixture of fuel and air... lol
lean = too much air. no exhaust = all air!
my friends aem does the same thing...
E85 would be silly... if your car takes 100%... with E85 your car would now need 150%... which is why you can make more power. but it takes more fuel to maintain the AFR.
if you wanna go for that 'ultimate' power from your car go grab some race gas and use the right stuff.

i took a video after i changed the oil.
i drove away and had my mom watch the car, and she said there was white smoke... BUT I CANT SEE IT IN MY MIRRORS!!! its pissing me of....
so i pulled into the garage, and made the video of me revving it...
i did that compression test cold. the car had sat all night... so it wasnt that.
if my rings didnt 'seal' then my compression defintaley wouldnt be at 160!
im gonna give a call to the machine shop that did my stuff and ask a few questions... cause i've never had this many issues with a...
im not much of a believer that 'because my engine is turbo, i use oil'... that honestly makes no sense. if everything is sealed up right, then you shouldnt burn oil... you might burn the vapors that are sucked out, but not the oil its self.
and i'll go and do some high vacuum pulls tomorrow...
i read where you said that IJ... but, he also cranked down the MBC... and if you understand how a MBC works, then he should have logically backed it off until he test drove it.
ROFL... i dont even have the '3rd gasket'... i undid the 3(or 4?) big ass center things though, and i put RTV on them, and torqued them down... thats NOT IT. and not to mention, i never said a word about oil on TOP of my spark plugs, i only said i had oil ON my spark plug, like the electrodes...
at least he got the arp 50% right... why not just buy the studs?
i just hope his motor is ok in the coming days... it may not hit instantly, but im sure the motor didnt like it.
its instant, but lets be honest, its a computer that controls everyting, it not like it changes fuel in .00000001 seconds based on the pressure and everything. lol
i just know from tuning cars on the street... things are not 'instant' as some people seem to think.
and the reason he linked...
UPDATE
I went out driving today with my friend cause i wanted to listen to and watch his car (his has some isues) and i wanted him to watch my exhaust for when it smokes... and what i discovered is that i only smoke on boost, or when im spooling the turbo. cause every time i 'took off' from...
i have friends boosting on larger turbos about 22psi on 91 octane... so 93 should easily go above 20psi on a street car. WITH THE RIGHT TUNE!!!!!!
i doubt his wideband reacted fast enough to really tell what the AFR ratio was for that 1 or 2 seconds...
