so im 99% sure my engine is shooting light smoke due to my super old and stock ct-26... it was on the 'loose' side of things when i put it back on, hoping that the oil flow would tighten it up a bit :3d_frown:
so i wanna hear who rebuilt your turbo, how much, and many miles are on it...
its just a bad situation... i feel bad for the shop, i've done TONS of work for friends and they've paid in payments, or paid it in full when the job was done.
but this car was taken apart, engine pulled, everything. just to install the turbo kit was like at least $800 in labor i would think...
my n/a wiht a 4.3LSD felt a lot 'quicker' but my turbo supra with the 3.73LSD feels overall MUCH faster (duh!)
im much happier with the 3.73 though, i wouldnt mind the 3.9 though... defintaley a good compromise.
fenders are normally always in good condition, especially the pass. side...
and sweet shit on the TB... i cant wait till you get that all done, if you need anybody to 'test' it let me know!

yeah... there was quite a bit of time researching what parts, and how much. the best thing to do is contact some of the vendors on here and talk to them. specifically suprarich

i would go the craigslist route, only cause you can see the engine, and it looks beat on the outside, then its probably not in better shape inside...

i had my crank cut .10/.10 and everything is fine... if they were going to take a shit im sure it would have been last night when i was going WOT in 3rd down the road.... whats important is they pull the plugs and clean the crank super good.
and i looked at that kit too, and i found it wasnt...
and i thought crazy shit happened in CA!

and i have ZERO leaks anywhere, even works on exhaust manifold gaskets.
i used this on the oil pan, and none of my bolts are even...
mine resets it, kinda... lol
cause i clicked it today, and it moved it, and pulling it out did nothing... might just pull the cluster and take a look and paint my needles too...
