    losing oil somewhere?

Blown turbo seals most likely cause of that. If it was burning oil it wouldn't be liquid in the exhaust. Must be going directly into the exhaust through the blown seals.

    Violent shake/clunking. Bogs down RPM's. broken/loose bolt?

Just replace the hydraulics, It's a good thing to do anyway, to have new stuff there. After that, if it still makes the noise, you may have to look at the tranny, even if you don't want to believe it. P.S. As for driving with no clutch, if you temporarily disable the clutch safety switch, you...

    Getting my car running again

It's running!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Test drove it today. First time out of the driveway for seven months. Running beautifully, though I haven't boosted yet. Gonna wait til I retorque the head this Saturday. It's burning a little oil, due to a bad valve guide seal. I had another set, but for the...

    Alarm / brake light

+1 on the door switch, that's the most likely reason. When you top off your brake fluid, and if the light goes out, then check your fluid every couple of days. If your fluid keeps going low, you may have a leak in the rear seal of your master cylinder. If so, it will leak into the brake booster...

oil smoke off the manifold HELP!

If you're absolutely certain it's not the valve cover gasket, then I vote for the cps seal. It's the only other thing above the exhaust, that could leak oil.

If I was there, I'd teach you how to drive without a clutch. It can be done, you know.

    Getting my car running again

Couldn't post much for a while, too busy working on the engine. Well, it's finished. Ran out of money, and time, so I couldn't make it real pretty like I wanted. Got the engine looking pretty good, but I couldn't get the engine bay cleaned. Got some pics. Engine's in the car, gonna finish up...

    Power Steering pump adjustment solution

Works like a charm! I waited until I put the engine in the car, to make sure the adjuster hardware wouldn't hit anything in the bay. Fits beautifully. Well, that's all she wrote for this thread, hope this helps somebody out.

    MHG to Cyl bore difference

To be absolutely sure, fit the gasket to the block, and look. If the gasket seems to be inside the combustion chamber, it's no good. As long as it's outside the chamber, it's O.K.

    losing oil somewhere?

In my turbo tear downs, it seemed like the water jacket was totally enclosed, and the seals were just for oil, which is why I postulated a cracked housing. The last time I disassembled one was about two years ago, so I could be remembering incorrectly.

    losing oil somewhere?

If you had done the flushing as you described, the would be little reason for the coolant to be rusty, which is why, along with your missing oil, it seems to us that your oil is going into the coolant. Doesn't mean we're right, just seems plausible with the evidence given.

    losing oil somewhere?

Don't overlook the possibility of a crack in the turbo housing, oil could infiltrate the coolant that way too.

    Having problems running please help!

If you are smelling gas in the oil, you are running unbelievably rich, so rich, that unburned fuel is leaking past the rings, and into the block. CHANGE YOUR OIL IMMEDIATELY! Then, check for a disconnected intake hose after the AFM. Don't just look, Physically check everything, no matter how...

    Help..bhg???

The flushing sound is simply air in your heater core. It could simply need to be burped, This in itself does not signal a BHG. However, A BHG could cause this, along with many other symptoms. Do the exhaust in coolant test, and if there's no issue there, look for a small leak like I already...
