Does the bore on a MHG have to be bigger than the bore of the cylinder or can they both be the same size?

Example I have .040"(1mm) oversize cylinders. Will a MHG with a bore of 84mm be fine or does it have to be larger. I know some components (not Just Supra specific) have to have some difference...Just want to make sure before I go and buy a MHG of the wrong size.

To be absolutely sure, fit the gasket to the block, and look. If the gasket seems to be inside the combustion chamber, it's no good. As long as it's outside the chamber, it's O.K.

I appreciate you're trying to be a helpful member but redundant and incorrect posts aren't helping anyone.

<hint> the Gasket would have to have a very small odd shaped ID to be inside the Combustion chamber.... :nono:
