timing!!!

Ok,
Getting ready to do my HG on my 88 supra gte. done a ton of work on cars but never inside the motor so wish me luck!! my question is, is there a way to make sure my timing isnt waaaaaaaaay off when i get it put back together?? ive been searching around and never saw any posts about it. :sarcasm:

Set the engine a TDC. Remove the cam position sensor cover. Take a picture of the CPS. When you put it back together make it look like the picture. Here's my picture!

you can also mark the spindle in the cps once tdc it. i wish i did it before i took my engine apart.. tsrm also tells you how to get the timing back
