I really like 86s. A best friend has a hatch with Work Equip 03s, 2way, coilovers, HKS sport exhaust. And some other small odds and ends. Funnest car i've ever driven and i've driven everything from Fiats to Skylines to Ferraris.

I have a '92 starter and it works without a problem. I dont see why an earlier mk3 starter wouldnt work... The only difference between the 2 is how they are held to the motor. '92 has threads in the starter. Earlier years you must use a bolt and nut.
A bov will open whenever you let off the gas depending on adjustment. But if its opening at 5in/hg then you should probably tighten it up to open at 10in/hg or so.
Your supposed to get a lean condition when your dragging the car in gear. Its pretty much shutting the injectors off. If your trying to get really good MPG you would downshift as much as possible instead of using the break. Your using less fuel this way.
Make sure you break the ACT clutch in per ACT instructions. I didnt break my ACT in fully when I swapped my 2j. The clutch sticks itself to the flywheel if I launch the car now. Come to find out its because I didnt break it in per ACTs instructions.
Is there any way to change the point where the car changes from closed loop to open loop? Im having a problem with tuning a smooth and linear drop of AFR while increasing boost. Whenever i try to lean the car out to achieve this smooth drop of AFR I get a bad lean condition under normal...
