I have the same problem with out the stutters.. when cold car does not want to go at all seems like 50 hp lol. but i have a turbo model. seemed to notice it after i installed my aftermarket intercooler might not be related tho.
And its not that i just thought it might help because after reading the manual i saw that i was missing some things and it might be obvious to one of you guys (And wasn't to me) that this was the problem.
I thought it was something i did wrong installing it after my i put my head on because...
ok so i fixed coolant line that runs to to the turbo it was split. (J shaped hose) car still hasnt overheated at all. nor does coolant seem to be dissapearing. if i make sure to squeez the upper radiator hose and stuff when i take off cap it doesnt ever make the noise seems to have gone away at...
idk only thing thats missing on the car.
Only other thing is the gasket that i used on the metal tube of the egr was off alittle bit. Autozone gave it to me.
Side note. Every Throttle body gasket i have got including a engine Gasket kit from toyota the hole was to small had to cut it...
How much does harness and ECU go for normally? and what sensors do i need to change also there are clips that i need to change on the 89 motor witch ones are they?
So i have a 89 turbo Targa that has rusted insde and out from engine bay to tire well. it was everywhere sadly.
A Shop here told me a rough estimate about 5-8k in work I don't have that kind of money.
But i do have a 87 N/A Manual Hardtop sitting around... So my thoughts is to put my motor...
