There's longer build threads. Look at IJ's build thread, his has the most posts by far. Mine's 1/4 the number of posts of his, although my build thread is 2 1/2 years old. As for the cam angle sensor plugs I've barely done any work to the motor and am slowly working my way through the motor...
you want a more reliable engine
you want a cleaner engine bay with much less clutter
you want a better designed motor
you blow your stock twins
you love the 7M vs. 1JZ/2JZ war
you love to flip 7M owners shit :D
Time for VIS to pony up a new hood and not to skimp on the glue this time. Sucks to see that bro. There's a vid on youtube of a SC300 doing the Texas Mile and his CF hood broke apart at like 150 MPH. There wasn't much left of it, just a small chunk where it bolted to the hinges.
Good point Duane. After I posted post #675 I realized I posted a pic of my engine bay in this thread when it definitely didn't qualify for this thread and deleted my pics.
I guess I mistook my rim size. I'm looking at the receipt and the are 17x9 +27 and 17x8 +28. Mind you I bought my rims in December 2007. And to think I was thinking my rims were 1/2" wider this whole time, lol.
Atleast you're adjusting the firewall before installing the motor. I had to adjust mine with the motor installed after pulling the stock twins (wasn't exactly fun or easy). Looks real good fella's.
What I posted earlier for my macroeconomics class in regards to why a guy can't get a job.
Most likely he's among the millions of Americans who are too stupid to read a book and follow basic instructions and can't do a simple math problem without the aid of a calculator.

The bolt pattern won't work. 5x114.3 and 5x4.5 are the bolt patterns that fit the MKIII and MKIV. Don't use their thing that chooses the wheels based on your car, choose the wheels based on the size. You do know you can always have the rims painted right? IE find a design you like and then...
I got my wheels through discounttiredirect.com (my rims are their house brand), and if you buy a set of wheels with tires, they'll mount, balance, and ship them for free :D When I was doing my research to buy rims 2 years ago, the 16's were out of the question since I knew I wanted...
Why would you get 17x7.5's? I won't go less an a 17x8.5 in the front and 17x9.5 in the rear. That's my current rim size, with +27 and +28 offsets. I'd stay away from 18" rims personally. The cost of tires gets pretty insane, especially if you have wide tires like me (245 up front and 275 in...
