thats what i find 'silly'... you have all of this great stuff happening, but its in BUILD THREADS!... hidden away unless you check out every single thread to find out whats happening. if they made a thread for there exhaust maniold they were making, or the FFIM they were making... then it could...
Its also to get people to be more 'adventourous'... if you go look at the fabrication section on the hybridz forums (for motor swaped 240z's) theres PAGESSSSS of fabrication stuff, some just being info, but most being pictures.
and the 'tech tip' section has a lot of info on stuff...

grimjack says we need the traffic and the threads to make it happen. so everybody who has a bunch of little pics on how to do stuff, yank them out of your build thread and speak up!!!!!
on a "BPU" upgrade, you would already have a 3'' downpipe without a cat in that location. i know on a STOCK turbo supra, removing the two cats will yield some awesome power along with opening the exhaust to a true 3'' system. but once you get the 3'' downpipe on, having a cat or not isnt going...
are we talking about a roots style blower? or a centrifugal supercharger?
cause personally i would love to see what could be done with all of the new parts available to the MK3 + supercharged.
i went through 5 belts trying to find one that fit the best for that bracket... i would notch the bottom adjustment hole larger to the inside.
if you want the part number i used i'll go look for ya....
the problem with buying a 3rd party engine from somebody who crashed there car is that they normally crashed doing something insanely stupid with the engine. drifting... haulin ass and lost control, stuff like that... sometimes yeah they werent, but... i would still be VERY cautios of that...
to de-cat the exhaust will get you maybe 5hp... aka. nothing but a louder exhaust.
intake, full exhaust, hard metal pipes for the IC count as BPU?
BPU+ = stated above, but with like cam gears
BPU++ = all of the above plus another mod...
its just the easier way of saying you have few mods...
talk to a lawyer or somebody who knows the law in your area. i would defintaley be seeking some revenge for that crock of shit. to get blamed that specifically, more than just a coincidence....
not the front cam cover, the rear cam plate, the one between the gears and the head/valve covers... sometimes the bolts from the gears hit the bolts on the plate. i just wanted to give you a heads up.
take some more pics!!!!
have you talked to any of the vendors on here? zankoku performance rebuilds engines. a friend and a member on here got his rebuilt by them and has had no problems.
and it is very possible you damaged the crank/rod and will need more work than the original estimate though.
forced - ask IJ...
i bought a running supra with rod knock for $200... and it was complete and didnt have any rust...
rust is a bitch to fix, i hope you got lots of time.
to check codes you just use a paper clip in the diagnostic box right above the fuse box in the engine bay and then put the car into the on position and watch how many times the check engine light blinks, should be.... blink blink...... blink blink bink....
2 blinks, then a seperation, then 3...
make sure the cam gear bolts dont hit the timing plate cover bolts. would hate to see you over look that...
nice motor though, and that lettering on the valve covers is a nice touch.
if you have the SAFC unhooked, the VPC with a 550 chip, and you have 550's in, then it 'should' be ok... whats your wideband say?
could always try the 440 chip and see if it changes.
