89+ turbo is 12BTDC... EDIT: i looked through his previous threads, he has an 89 turbo... so the 12 is fine.
make sure you have good grounds on the igniter, and the on the coil pack. i made some for my car andjust ran them to the location where the stock battery grounds to he chasis.
the clutch should 'move' a little with barely any force. like its just hanging there.
and when your trying to turn the rod, press on the clutch just a little, and it will turn like NOTHING. i just replaced mine and it only took 45mins for the entire process.
oh yeah, dont unthread it too...
HAHAHAHAHAHA...... your now offically INSANE.
but if i take a fat one and it smells horrible. i just leave it... let the next person get a wiff of my greatness.
im sure they can work together... but, there doing the same thing, and doesnt the VPC vary depending on the weather too? like hot days vs. cold nights?
the most asked question, throwing any codes?
and you didnt say when you were getting 14.6, but thats fine at an idle...
i find it rather hard to stay out of boost actually. just normal driving for me i tend to get 1-3psi. but my turbo was only doing 5psi... so yeah.
and i had an aftermarket boost gauge btw.
i think im still use to my n/a's style of driving... i miss it...
yeah, there both fuel controllers... its redundant to run both. i would go with the vpc if you know how to properly tune it. other wise the SAFC is pretty simple too... i would make sure there both zeroed out if your just trying to start it up though.
i just logically thought about #3 doward... and it does make sense now... forgot if theres no pressure on the coolant system the mixture will boil at a lower temp (180)
damn chemistry... lol
but pinhole leaks dont push coolant out of the res. they just make the birdcage light come on.
check your rad cap. if thats bad, it wont hold the pressure either...
rofl at the roflcopter! i havent seen that in a long time..
BHG = water in oil
what does a turbo LIVE off of..? oh.... OIL.
dont ruin your turbo. park the car and take care of it NOW. otherwise its going to get COSTLY.
i think since he got new hoses, its probably larger, so its getting a better 'connection' to the intake manifold, which is why it sounds different... but yeah i would double check to make sure all of the lines are sealed.
what? foot out of what? lol...
we did this to my friends eclipse also, he was use to puttin 87 in his other cars, and did it to his eclipse... so we just un-hooked the wastegate lever... drove fine for him.
