you normally have to weld the flanges to the CAT, so you line them up to the downpipe and the cat-back so that way you just bolt them together... you can try to use the ddp with the stock cat, but it'll probably leak...
3'' cats are like $60... go to a local exhaust shop, i got one plus two...
the only way i see an e-fan setup being better than the clutch fan is if you had twin fans in front of it and a 14'' in back... but with 3 fans kickin with at least 10amps each, your alternator wont be very happy.
hell, the mercedes my dad just worked on had a stock clutch fan with a shroud...

DSM's are nice as long as they are taken care of, but from a roll my stock supra does a pretty good job vs. my friend with a really modded 1g gsx...

the only 'advantage' to the VPC is that it deletes the stock AFM... i personally like SAFC's over VPC's only because of how much more tuning the SAFC2 has in it, and now the neo has like 32 different rpm settings?
and as far as the timing thing goes, you should check out the TSRM befor you...
makes sense... not every car is the same. but the logic behind EGR is... i'll be sure to pass the knowledge onto my friends who think blocking off EGR gives them 'hella more power' hahaha

the more i actually LEARN about how stuff works, the more it makes sense... especially the EGR... same power, better mpg, and reduced emissions under normal driving... toyota was pretty smart. still cant figure out why they fucked up the head torque so bad though :biglaugh:
