on my n/a i had the catch can hooked up the same way and i had no problems. although it wasnt a DM catch can, it was a 'freddy' one with the sight thing, and it never leaked i dont think. my car idled at 800rpm all day.
double check that you have all of the bolts tight and the hoses are clear...
go post up a WTB... theres like 4 people parting there car right now. dont be stupid with fuel components. it'll come back and bite you in the ass so hard.
if the motor is good and the milage isnt over 150k... then i would ask 5500... but you most likely will get somewhere around 4000. its a nice car. but i would consider getting an e-brake cover, and maybe getting the steering wheel done so it matches the shift boot.
