I do. and i want to change them.... im having oil burning somewhere... and its only getting worse. so yeah...
soo.... can i just put the eagles onto the stock pistons? or do they not work with each other?
i want cast pistons for my DD... i'll be at stock HP for a while... so the cast will be fine. and i want to keep my eagles because the stock rods are prone to failure unless they have ARP rod bolts...
and after seeing people hit 400hp... and then 700hp with stock internals... im much more...
i wanna redo my engine... im not happy at all with it, and im trying to figure it all out BEFORE i do it this time.... :3d_frown:
i would like to reuse my eagle rods as they only have 300miles on them.
I know it can be done, but how? are the eagle rods any different as far as the wrist pin...
why not just put the car on hold and get your life back together?... the car is gonna be there... everything else in your life may not....
your car is awesome though.
what about it?....
on a turbo car you want at least a 3''...
on an n/a car the 2.5'' is a good 'street' exhaust...
but if your n/a and you go to the drag strip you might benefit form a 3''...

sooooo.... whos right? and where can i get a set of...
well... i mean my block had almost all of them cracked, i researched, and it was fine to use, just use loctite on the threads that go into the block to help 'seal' it... this is what ARP says on the spec sheet... its not just my opinion...
but yeah, if you can, try to get a different block...
1200RPM in 3rd? wtf? you expect it to just rocket away or something?
go drive the car, shift out of first at 4k... full throttle 2nd and shift as 5500-6000 shift to 3rd... and then do full throttle again... then come back and says how it feels.
and remember, turbos arent instant... they...
not with a possibly blown turbo... your just asking for failure.
you just spent all that money on the body work, and you cant get the turbo rebuilt????
the block should be good as long as smashing that rod cap into the side of it didnt crack the block in that area.
dont worry too much about how the cylinder walls look, because if your getting probes you have to bore it at least .20 or .40 over...
