Relocating wires and hoses on 7MGTE

    1. Unscrew them from the valvecovers 2. Lift up and move done. Ahahaha j/k! i had to be an ass sorry. Ya, It's pretty simple, you can easily just reverse the wires so you move the packs to the back of the engine or on the firewall, and by reverse the wires i mean the...

After many descisions, i have decided to go 1jz.

It is possible Ideal that included in that $1000 is the price of intercoolerpiping and even the intercooler itself. I'm not sure. You're right tho, it doesn't cost too much, you could get one of Seth's intake plenums for cheaper and make your own pipes, I'd say that'd run closer to $550. eric

    7mgte vs 1jzgte

Ya, the 1J can be seen as "better" because since they designed it to turbo from the start, they could engineer the intake plenum and head etc for maximun turbo benefits. I'm with Grim tho, it's just a different engine, not better as a whole but it may excell in certain areas, although the 7m can...

    Exhaust for Turbo? (Cat-back)

I ran the HKS super dragger. Huge 85 mil piping, sweet mellow note you can barely hear in regular driving, and a nice coated set of pipes with fully chrome coated canister to top it all off. It was a good buy in my eyes. eric

    Aftermarket Intake Manifold...

The plenum and pipes are pressurized during operation, so the air is pushed into whatever cylinder is open almost equally one would think. eric

    ARP bolt questions

The washer will help distribute the high load of (74 ft/lbs in yoru case) over the surface so you'll have less stress. Since it is an auminum head i would have reccomended the use of washers, but hopefully things are gona be fine :icon_conf eric

    please help w/ install

Basically, and also you won't be needing the stock j-tube, so you can block that off and bypass it by running the line right from the fpr to the return. The bracket lets you mount it to the shock tower if i am not mistaken. eric

    please help w/ install

It simply replaces the stock one on the front of your fuel rail. Take old one off, put new fitting for fpr line on it, attach to fpr, then run the other line to return and set pressure with vacuum disconnected apparently, to get the pressure correct. That's what I hear anyway. eric

Worth $700? **Pics** 56K Be Forewarned

Even if you're just buying it to drive around right now, chances are it won't safety right off the bat, so you'll have to put more money into it just to drive it for those couple days before something breaks due to the rust or neglect it seems to have. And who owns the car you or your buddy? I...

Well, maybe i can help. My engine is early 89 so it has square mounts. The oil pump accessory driveshaft is connected to the block via one bolt.
