I have one of those units. It's black and it's used to inflate my bicycle tires :biglaugh: Those blue cylinders are the exact same as the C02 sylinders you can buy for any air powered gun. My handgun uses them, so does this unit. I'll edit this post tomorrow with a pic of my "secret nitrous...
Your engine bay looks awesome! I really like the black scheme you have going there. That turbo is almost reminiscent of the HKS TO4Z. What are you gona do to break it in? Run it hard or soft. Anyway, show us some vids of it dude!

Ya that oily residue is thanks to the vacuum created by your turbo that pulls the excess oil blowby out of your cam covers, people often use an oil catch can to stop it from building up inside their pipes. You simply re-route the pipes into the catch can, then either vent it to atmosphere or use...
Remember tho, it's not there for show. It protects the gears form ANYTHING as dirt and rocks and shit like that could get between the gears and the belt and possibly fudge pack your engine. If oyu really want to see the gears and stuff get a clear one, that's what I'm doing because it still...
easiest thing to do is if it's a bit caked on, simply squeeze a flat screwdriver between it and the front plate, give a little twist and voila, it should sorta crack open, repeat around the sides if necessary.

I deal with HPF mainly. It's a little slow as I'm located in Canada, but when I eventually get my parts and pay the rediculous duty's on them, everything turns out well. I also delt with Suprastore once, I ordered the HKS super dragger and it was promptly delivered in about 3-4 days, everything...
What if you bolted a NA header up for the vreakin and used the mototune usa style hard breakin, then switched your turbo mani and all back on after? Best way yet I think.

I ordered all those from toyota, and I believe 2 of the codes for the bolts came up as discontinued and no longer in production. Go to the hardware store and buy some. I did, fit perfectly. Most bolts on the engine apparently are either m8, m10, or m12 sized.

make sure you put the seal in correctly, not backwards like I did :aigo: . Use the Toyota gasket goo for the oil pan also, not a cork gasket as I have heard nothing but bad about cork.

Does the exhaust really need to make that "S" bend at the end? I have seen a few without it and wonder why it's still used. I thought turns and such would not be as good. Looks very impressive non the less bro.

Only real way of doing it would be to cut/re-weld the section hitting, ofcourse if you relocated the oil filter it might be easier. I don't know but maybe a spacer between the mani and head? I never heard of such a spacer tho. I say relocation would be best thing to do.

Maybe the valve popped out because the keepers at the top came out somehow. Maybe it revved to hig hand they shot out of the retainer or broke into pieces and sent the rod down into the piston.
