To trade or not to trade?

I would definitely trade, since that car/engine appears VERY clean and well done. But if money is tight there is no need, although, if this car is better than the supra you have now, I'd just trade it, then sell the one you have right now to pay for another winter car. eric

HELP me get my car running

Same problem with a member on SF in the mk2 section. This is what the cause was most likely to be. " mk2supra_86 SupraForums Member yup, sounds like the fuel pump isnt producing enough pressure. M supra did this as well, it would idle fine (not much fuel PSI required), but when u hit the...

    rebuild or replace?

Buy a jdm one or whatever country it comes from, as long as it tests out fine, so oyu can run the car again. Rebuild the one from your car and do it right while you still drive the car. Get it decked, bored, honed, miced, blueprinted, tanked, deburred, and then you're good to go. It all depends...

    7m-gte from www.risingsunengines.com

If you bought it online, then what would be the difference from them and buying from ebay. The only diffenrece I can see is one says Rising sun and the other says ebay, so unless you go and actually see the motor, you don't know what you trully get until it arrives. eric

    e-brake question

I seem to remember someone saying a long time ago on the forum that you can simply grab the handle part, including the harder rubber slide, and twist it and then pull it off. Don't take my word on it but I'm pretty sure that's what you do. eric

Best Free Supra Mod !EVER! !EVER!

I bet you could save like 15 lbs from removing all the paint. Did you know Boeing is doing that to their 777;s, and it'l save about 25k/year and loose a couple hundred pounds of weight. They say if it works well then they might do it to all the planes. eric

Relocating wires and hoses on 7MGTE

It all comes down to this: You can clean it up and remove certain things to save weight, clutter, ease of access to parts on the block whatever. I believe in function over form myself, so if the engien puts out 550 horsepower but looks like a rat's nest, then it's still as nice as a superclean...
