One more pic! Jeff seems to want to do the DIY, so I'll leave it to him.

    valve stem fell...keeper question

OK! Finally got my pics on the puter. First off, the tools we used. What you see in the picture, was all we needed to actually return the lost valve to it's rightful home. Second, we successfully inserted the wire, and got hold of the valve for gluing. Third, wire glued to the stem. It was right...

    difference in powersteering between A70's

No, I meant what brand and model. For example, some people feel the Continental extreme contact model makes steering hard and sluggish, on the MKIII.

Tires could be the issue with heavy steering, some tires just don't work well with the Supra. What tires do you have?

    Got some free tires

We had to put 60's on my stepson's MKIII, and boy did it look like ass. Use em if you have to, but you'll be hating them for sure.

    brake problem...

Done it myself, and it's worked. Unless I say it's an opinion, or an idea, it's something I've actually done, and had it work. I wouldn't say it if it didn't work for me, and other mechanics I've worked with. I've bled brakes from flare nuts, and banjo bolts, and never had a problem.

    brake problem...

I've done this for a living too, IJ. I've been working on machinery of all kinds, since I was 8 years old, helping my dad put engines in volkswagons. Been an auto mechanic, a motorcycle mechanic, an aircraft mechanic, (USAF), and a washing machine mechanic at various times in my life. As far as...

    brake problem...

Break loose the flare nuts, and bleed it from there. I'm basically trying to get you to start over again, and do it in the correct steps. bleeding the ABS, is just to be sure there's no air trapped there, like a just in case measure. I'm just trying to cover all the bases.

Also, trace the lines to the ABS unit, and bleed the lines where they go into the ABS, and where they come out and feed back into the main brake lines. do this before you bleed the calipers. Air can get trapped in the ABS unit.

    brake problem...

Hook up those hoses again, and put the hose in the reservoir. Fill the reservoir to the top, and slowly pump the pedal until all the air is gone. Then reconnect the lines, and try bleeding again. Right rear, left rear, right front, left front. Don't use the vacuum bleeder if you can possibly...

Did you bench bleed the master? That has to be done before anything else.

    valve stem fell...keeper question

That is certainly what we would have put in the DIY, jdub. There's no pics of it because Jeff isn't worried about that engine, and so we didn't go that far. I for one, wanted to get back to air conditioning.

    valve stem fell...keeper question

Just got home from Jeff's house. Man was it hot! I haven't got the energy right now, to post my pics. I originally was going to video it, but kotu didn't show up to be cameraman, and it was too cumbersome trying to do it while working, so we opted for photos. Bad kotu, no soup for you! I...
