    valve stem fell...keeper question

The magnet is to fish the stem of the valve out of the spark plug hole, after we fish the line we put in through the guide out, so we can super glue the line to the top of the stem, and pull the stem back through the guide.

    turbo adapter

What about just welding the t-3 flange directly on the stock manifold flange. I mean, cut away any parts of the stock flange that might interfere, and then welding the flanges together. Then it would only change the turbo position about 1/2 an inch. Just an idea.

    Lazy first shift

My first thought, since it's accelerator related, would be shift cable out of adjustment, but I don't claim to be an expert.

    valve stem fell...keeper question

^ Let's see. A person decides to do his valve guide seals, and unfortunately makes a mistake, dropping a valve into the cylinder. He had no intention of doing a head gasket, or any major work, just the seals. In your world, there's only one option to fix it. A costly and time consuming option...

But he said, you needed to put it at TDC to be sure all the valves were closed. That's the point I was talking about.

    valve stem fell...keeper question

IJ, since you take the cams off to do the valve guide seals, none of the valves would be open in the first place, unless, for some reason, you were doing it one cam at a time. Why you'd do that, IDK. Kotu, I've seen a post somewhere about using a piece of paper to put the keepers in, but I can't...

7m I/C pipes hurting my head

Don't get rid of it, you just need to modify that center brace a little bit. I fit a 24X18X4 unit in there, with a little modification.

    suspension install too expensive?

Please carefully re-read each of my posts in this thread, because this is getting way out of hand. At no point did I recommend to the OP not to use a spring compressor. And an experienced mechanic should know enough about their talents and tools, to make their own decision.
