sounds like you are in a much better situation than you thought. I really hope that everything works out for you because it would be a bummer to quit when you are so far along. Let us know how it goes.

Adjustable CAM Gears, Who uses them, do and donts

I don't think that its explained there but, rotating the cam gears (in DOHC) changes the lobe separation angle. LSA is related to overlap, so, the less LSA you have, the more overlap you are going to have because the lobes are closer together. This will hurt you a little at low rpm but it will...

Adjustable CAM Gears, Who uses them, do and donts

There is no best setting, you need to dyno tune your car and see what works, even comparing stock cars to other stock cars you will get differences. If I were you I'd leave the stock cams alone, they work well enough for most people. But anyways, i'm going to link a short writeup from the old...

    Wheel thread (again)

18s cost a lot more than 17s even. I'd just run 17s and go wide and pay the same as someone running thinner 18s. 16s are even cheaper but you can't get wheels wide enough.

    wilwood big brakes

Kind of off topic, but, it's about the Wilwoods. Obviously they have a better design than stock and they can cool better. But, with race pads on stock calipers you can still lock up R-compound tires. Do the wilwood calipers really provide a better stopping force or is it just that the force is...

    Tien RA spec coilovers appraisal

The spring rate is pretty high for most local tracks. Only the nicer, professional tracks can afford the smooth surface to take advantage of those springs. If you like stiff, get them.
