Tein SS's are too soft and don't go low enough.

If I am going to spend the money on coilovers, I want something that will vastly let me change how my car's suspension is, Not just a little tweak.

Don't take this out of context tho, You asked for opinions, this is mine, and No, My car doesn't have them, But I ave driven an A70 with Tein SS's.

Maybe for a race car, yes. But IMO, my friend Ryan has tein ss's and they are very stiff. I like it and all, but anything stiffer would vastly ruin ride quality.

Again, this is my opinion, as Kyle has his ;)

tein ss are pretty nice, it's basically their semi adjustable budget setup. If you want refinement, go with their FLEX setup. It is their top of the line for gt cruising/handling. I had it on my WRX, and it transformed the car into BMW M3 type ride and handling. It was fantastic. Be harned however, Teins are known for being loud, ie clunks from the pillowballs and LOT'S of swooshing noise from inside the damper.

Mine made SOOO much noise, but the ride was so good that I didn't care.

If you want a budget setup, you can't beat a set of KYB GR-2's and jza70 springs.

Yea i've seen those FLEX they do look sweet but they're price tag of $1,400 is alot though. Tein SS's go for about $950 so is the difference worth it? Probably won't know until i try both, but i know i won't be getting both or one of them for a good time lol.

Megans will make your teeth come out on full stiffness, And I like that.

To be TOTALLY honest, I'm going to get some used Cusco's or new Megan Racings. The only reason I havn't jumped on Megan Racings, is that they wont let me lower the car to my liking.

i have megans on my Wife's wrx. it is very nice quality. i would actually say up to the flex level, but not as refined. read: valving.

I've ridden in a 1jz spra with the megans... that being said, megans are planned for my supra.

can they adjust real soft? i would like to be able to soften the rears when drag racing then put back to regular level when driving normally or hitting the twisties. Megans sound like a pretty good deal, anyone had them for a while, durability is key aswell.

yes, they have a pretty ride range, and you can fit eibach 2.5" ers coils if you want something softer. that's what i did on my wife's car.

stock, the megans come 8kg front and 6kg rear. i moved the 6kg to the front, and installed 275lbs eibach coils in the back.

If you have a problem with Megan Racing coilovers, they don't rebuild them. They give you a new set. If you are over the 1 year warranty, you will pay partial replacement cost.

This only works if you buy from an authorized source, not eBay. Coilovers are not allowed to be sold for less then $950. If you see them cheaper, it is not an authorized source and you may not receive a warranty.

For all of my customers, you have 30 days to try the Megan Racing coilovers. If for some reason you are not happy, you can upgrade to TEIN flex and receive full credit back for the MRs. I am fully confident that you will be happy with them.

You truly make it seem as if these megans are so good, maybe ill have to pick up a set from you! That is, you are an autorized vendor correct?
