I have the tien coilovers on my current supra and i am thingking of buying another set for my brother i know that tien sells aftermarket parts for these and could rebuild them pretty cheap and even modify them for your taste.

What do you think they are worth because i am bidding on them on ebay right now to try and get a set for my brothers supra Ebay Item Here

I dont think they sell these anymore & new retail 1800 new with the supra store discount i paid 1200 for them. waited 8 weeks to get them.

Those are awesome, and I'd bid up to about $700. Tein rock because they're rebuild price is only 85$ per corner, and can be done in the US.

Too bad I just ordered a pair of HA's or I would be jumping on this auction ;)

The spring rate is pretty high for most local tracks. Only the nicer, professional tracks can afford the smooth surface to take advantage of those springs. If you like stiff, get them.

The ride is not that harsh at all from my experiance i set the front @8 the rears @12 works perfect for dailey driving you do hop off of tiny hills on the freeway but when i used to visit my parents on dirt roads i didnt feel like it was too stiff at all.(I think this is due to the spring design specificaly the helper springs.) From what i can see at the auction they are missing the spanner wrenches & the ABS mounts but other then that is looks all there. I have been bidding like crazy on it it went from $40 to $300 just with my bids alone. I talked to my brother today and he wants tokitos. He thinks supras are like hondas i told him those are not really for our cars oh well. I think i will try to persuade him to go with my setup.

What I dont get is he was in my car when i took a turn at a two lane intercection doing 70mph and he is acting not interested in these?

I didnt care really posting the link because tien RA @ autction people would find anyway If i want them bad enough ill win them.

Again the spring rate is pefect for me considering we drive tanks and they are adjustable you can order sub parts to soften or stiffen them i have an artical from superstreet that talks about how to rebuild them yourself and order diffrent parts to change there dampening.

Thank you for the replys I may bid to what you thought they were worth i have to slap my bro though.

chalk it up to ebay inexperience

plus, there is no "dibbs" on ebay items if you post a link on a forum - if somebody else wants it, they are going to bid on it...thats why I would never post a link....or bid at anytime other than in the last minute of the auction.
