just out of curiosity, before your diff's blew, did they whine all the time, or just when there is no load on the diff? because mine whines only when there is no load on it, ie not accelerating, or using compression to break. but as soon as i throw it in neutral, it whines quite alot. thanks, trevor

i do not think you will be able to get into the 4-5 hundred range with 2k,and w58's will not hold that.

well w58's pop usually around 350, but if you have been really beating on it, 300 would be plenty.

seeing your sig, im guessing you are na-t, what kind of power are you pushing on your w58, and for how long. being that 1>2 is the hardest shift on the tranny, it would be the first to go.
