    Charcoal can noise!!!

for a fire extinguisher, you will have a hard time finding halon, as it is horrible for the environment, so the gov. is trying to eliminate it all together. for an engine fire, you would most likely want ABC-Dry Chem. for an interior fire, co2 would be top choice. however, it is less...

Hi, Just wondering what you guys are seeing for coolant temp, I have my temp probe in the upper rad. hose, and in 85 degree weather, it sits steady at about 180 reguardless of speed. when i shut it down it rises to about 195. just wondering if this sounds like a normal temp range. also...

    1988 1JZ exhaust system

exactly the same, except for the muffler, whether or not it has a resonator, pipe size, type of metal used, bending method used... all that being said, it is really up to you, pick which sound you like. if you are worried about cops, get something resonated. if you are looking for...

    1jz or 7m?

really, like JDMMA70 said, its a personal thing...if i could go back, i honestly probably would have just built my 7m. with the money and time i spent on this swap, i could have one kickass 7m. but, do your research, talk to some people with either, and make a decision for your self. there...

    my car burned!

yea, it looks like that poor thing may have been exposed to some serious heat, if you do swap that into another car i might look into at least getting another head for it... i still have some parts taking up space in my garage from my 7m like coil packs and wires and stuff, if your interested...

I know there are many "#" threads but..

i believe so, if his safc is properly tuned, a gt35r should be around those numbers... but i would guess that he is at the end of what those 370's can do. i would actually surprised if it doesn't lean out in higher rpm's but maybe someone else will chime in and voice a more experienced opinion

    horsepower question..

man, i was really hoping to hear "nope your wrong" when i had my 7m, intake, turbo back (including elimination of stock elbow) and 10 psi, i was at ~255 ( remember the torque is where the 7m shines though)

    horsepower question..

i was under the impression that the 232 that our cars put out stock was crank hp, not rwhp...can anyone either confirm this, or shoot me down? (i would prefer to be shot down) also, when "ballparking" numbers, remember these engines are ~20 years old, and probably even the best maintained one...

I know there are many "#" threads but..

i cant speak too much for the 1/4 numbers, but you are still on the 370's with a gt35r pushing 15psi?? your probably near the end of what those can provide for fuel... haha 3200lbs, thats an anorexic supra, mine weighs 3600 with no driver and 1/4 tank of gas...and thats it if i were to guess...

    Aftermarket Boost Gauge install?

with my mechanical boost gauge (and i know this was a little bit of a shortcut) i removed one of the screws that hold the boot for your throttle cable and ran it through there. fit perfect. little blob of RTB, job done. i know its a little cheap, but IMO one screw is plenty to hold that boot.
