at the time i had a hks intake, nurspec, hks dp, hollowed cat, mbc@10-12psi, and compression is up a tad on this motor because i put a stock hg on a milled head.
hell yeah my supra is fun to drive!!!
this is all i can say. i have been is oahu since june 9th. everyday has been so much fun between the beach, BBQ, the girls, and the clubs. but i'm going home tonight and i can't wait to get home back behind the wheel of my car. driving my sisters 02 jetta...
you can't get the rack from the dealer anymore...
i checked my local one and jeff at champion toyota. he said they were about $900 when he was able to get them. but if jeff says its not available. then its not available. he is the master of oem supra parts in the states.
i suggest you go...
^well then i guess the technical literature i have is wrong. along with a majority of owners manuals. and the whole characteristics of straight cut gears is wrong also. lol.
this is all i can say. next time you have a tranny on the bench with the case split. see whats engages reverse...
LOL.
sorry but all you all are wrong!
read my post in this thread. if you don't understand after that then well......too bad. lol.
btw this applies to all manual transmissions. they all uses a straight cut rev gear that is the only gear that isn't constant mesh...
shitty.
as easy as it might seem rebuilding a tranny isn't something anybody can do. you can just do like a pro your first time. even if you go by the book. it seemed like after i rebuilt mine all these people are talking about how they rebuilt/ or are rebuiding their trannys. all i can...
good job! you want a medal. your post is pointless. if your trying to brag thats funny. because hella people on here can pull the r154 like its nothing. YOUR NOT SPECIAL. and btw the r154 in my supra i drive everyday is completely rebuilt by me. once you do that. then come and tell me to...
hahaha.
by the way your talking have you ever even pulled a r154? because i have actually tried it that way and yeah. its a waste of time when the motor is in the car. and about the whole tech thing i know that tranny better than you most likely ever will. so yeah. you need to stfu because...
no you can't........trust me.
the only way you can do it that way is with the motor out. but really is it that hard for you to torque them through the slave hole.
if the head is still on i would drain the oil put in some cheap oil pull the efi fuse then crank the motor until i saw oil pressure. repeat a couple times then pull the head. if a good amount of water slipped into the mains or rod bearings it could trash your crank by the time you get back to...
^yup. you only really need to check one plug. i would go for 6 since you can just pop the wire off then pull the plug.
the white smoke thing is a different story. does it happen even when the car is warmed up. are you loosing coolent post a vid of the smoke if your worried.
^the noise doesn't really change with the clutch in you say?
if thats the case you are a lucky guy because that typically rules out the tranny as nothing is moving in there to make a noise with the clutch in. cross your fingers then pull the tranny and inspect your pp/disk.
oh and when...
