best write up for a ct26 ever :) +1 as for the turbo depends on your goals, these turbos are not yet proven really in real world driving and i havent seen a compressor map yet for any of them. still they do look good and i bet they are gonna be sweet turbos.
iirc theres an expansion valve in behind the dash that regulates the amount of refrigereant out, over time it gets weak and doesnt open as much and so less cooling power. moral get a new one! like $30 i think but its not fun to get to...
TRD did make some things for our cars including a stage 1 and stage 2 kit. There was an article about this I ran across a while ago that I'll try and find. Included in this were some upgrades to the turbo, intercooler, and a few suspension setups. Car ran 10psi (or was it 12psi) in "stock"...
9psi should be safe, get the K&N as you need that honeycomb for the afm. aif flow correction (MAFT, LEX, VPC....) will help you get ready for new stuff later down the road. intercooler. search around some and youll get a good idea as to waht is needed next.
i recently swapped to autolites after enjoying my NGKs irids for some time. so far im not all that impressed and after this am seriously considereing going back. screw it ill pay the extra to get assembled copper NGKs if i dont need to worry about them.
60-1 is the usual upgrade (this is a simple boring out and slapping a bigger wheel on, more to it than that but thats the jist) cost around 450 or so. next step up is an SP61GT this one is about 1000-1200 ish but better for longevity and higher hp goals. after that you are going to need to...
eh if you dont have high hp goals your gonna be good probibly to around 14 lbs as long as you are careful. in all honesty a mhg and some arps (or just arps ) woulda been better, just make sure you check the headbolts after 500 or so miles to make sure everything is good and tight.
