Exactly. Buy what is supported locally. Bottom line, most of these systems are about equal when it comes to basic tuning. Some have extra features. Some have extra gimmicks. None of that matters if your local tuner doesn't know the system inside out.

First off, good luck. The nuts and bolts on the stock exhaust are, without fail, seized in some way. I'd park it, wait for it to cool, spray it with thread penetrating oil of whatever type you prefer, wait overnight, then tackle it in the morning. If you're lucky, you'll get enough off that...

If it's a ball and spring type, that's correct. Just remember, the ball points to the turbo, the spring points to the wastegate.

Ask your tuner what EMS he is comfortable with in the price range and buy that. It's worthwhile to use something that is well supported locally. Are you planning on running race fuel? 600 whp from a 67mm turbo is pushing it on pump, to say the least, and I don't see anything for water / meth...
