sort of lol, if you include the all the stuff i sold from the old setup then yes. haha i decided to let this project go a litle more since i wanted it to be clean, so i plan on having some stuff powder coated as well as i spent money on por 15 for everything. so it will be a little higher...
ok well i got the pan back from the welder last night. it looks great! this weekend i will be hopefulley painting the engine bay and pipes. I also want to try to change the timing belt and water pump this weekend as well.

^lmk when ur gonna get it done..
its been a very slow week, i did some grinding to the flanges DP flanges so that i can make them both wide mouth for increased flow. no pics of that yet. but that was a pita.. grinding thru 1/2" steel with a grinder and trying to make it as clean as i...
does anyone want to donate me stock oil lines? i'll pay shipping. as long as the side that bolts to the turbo is good and i have some usable hard line after than i'll take it. i plan on doing some custom fittings on that hard line if possible. thanks
SO i guess im long overdue for a picture update. On friday i was able to finish cutting up the pipes with the grinder and then on saturday my buddy came over and welded me up the pipes. i still need to grind down some of the welds because i want the pipes to be somewhat smooth. I'm stuck on...
^ no room. i'm barely fitting everything as-is. initially thats what i wanted but i am really close on space. I'll be running solid mounts now just to make sure the motor doesnt move and take away what little space i have to run the pipes. i'll hopefulley get some good pics up this weekend...
the 7m finally blew while i was roadracing, this was like the 5th event its been to, 2 of them being in canada, so i must say it held up pretty well for a stock na-t @13psi pushing 300whp. i'm just glad it didnt happen in canada. I got the idea of a 1uz when iceberg mentioned it to me, so i...
i will be making a sheild for both manifolds, the angle makes it look alot closer than it is lol. i used some oxidized pipe for the manifolds so everything needs to be wirebrushed... everything will be painted and then heat wrapped as well. cant wait for this to be done!
SO this past day was alot of busy work, i started making the turbo manifolds and we got most of the manifold welding done then we ran out of welding gas.. so i'm stuck there until i can get time to run over to a shop. i wish they were open on weekends.. that would make life so much easier...
updates.. well i'm planning to pull the motor tomorrow to make the turbo manifolds, but tonight i got bored and decided to throw together some 3" bends i bought for my exhuast, but probably wont use most of the peices and i managed to come out with this with no cutting to any of the pipes i...
wasnt planning to. is there a reason to the mr2 housings? i figure i already had one rebuilt ct26 and another supra one was cheap so i went with that. i already have all the flanges made for the supra one too.
so some updates. the flanges i had cut came in yesterday so i spent the night and thismorning cutting them and having my buddy weld up the pieces. i also scored some piping from his garage as well for the manifolds. :evil2: so here's where i ended today, i also received my maft pro from...
i have a ford taurus alternator that is 130amp... it looks like it would fit a 7mgte but with some mods.. pm me if u want mroe info. its got a 6 rib pulley, i was going to use it with my 1uz but i found out my stock one is 120amp and is smaller i'll get rid of it for $37 shipped (assuming it...
update:
so i'm waiting for my turbo flanges to be remade so i can start mocking up turbo placement. for now i found a new home for the alt and managed to squeeze in the 7m power steering pump. i just need to swap the pulley to a 6 rib. the alt looks a bit funny because i need to grind off...
hmm, my car sits very low, so i dont think i can squeeze anything under that, but i'll take a look again later. as for the mounts i think im gonna elminate the hockey pucks altogether. i was just a bit worried about the motor vibrating all over the place but your right, its a very smooth...
Supra runs! after Mike's help with the wiring and some small grounding issues (forgot to ground the ignitor). the motor runs!. i'm so excited to get this project closer to getting done. i have most of the codes gone, i just have to figure out the maft. i also found out i had a bad spark...
So i'm trying to wire up my maft to my 1uz, and the only wire i was uncertian of was this one white wire that says is RPM signal in the maft manual. i'm supposed to connect it to the IGT wire on the 7m ecu, but since the 1uz has two ignitors i have a igt1 and igt2 so instead i connected it to...
