i was making close to 300rwhp before, i'm expecting to make about the same power. i also dont beat on my trans by doing burnouts and etc, so i'm sure it will hold up. it's also cheap to replace them

i know this doesnt really pertain to the 7m, but i am in need of a custom rad and the way my 1uz runs is the in and the out for the coolant flow are both on the top of the motor. the radiator i want to get has the upper port on the pass side which is the input into the radiator, and the lower...
turbos cannot fit on the side of the engine since the lack of space, so what lexus guys do is front mount them.. i plan on flipping the header to face forward and then making a custom pipe up to the turbos
so i did some more test fitting and i just hit a speed bump.... radiator wont fit.. doh... so i have 2 choices.. get rid of the TT project or shift the radiator to where the condensor was... well i went with plan B. i'm on a lookout for a radiator that will fit in the condensor location...
ok so day 3 is pretty much over for me.. we made some custom mounts on the front subframe to accomodate the 1uz. for the next few weeks i probably wont make any process since i will be missing my wiring harness. i still need to find one, sc400's are so hard to find in parts!!

update: well i decided its a good time in my life to do something different, so i'm picking up a 1uz tomorrow and i plan on twin turboing it with ct26. the stock ecu can take up to 8psi with a fmu only. :) it may be less power than the 7m but im gonna have fun
well thanks to turbo toyz i plan on doing a gte rebuild with his old motor. as much as i want 1uz i feel that once done i cant make much more power unless boosted which seems like a huge fitment issue unless u really start hacking away
so it has become that time when i need a new motor, or most likely need one. i blew my headgasket road racing and possibly screwed something else up since i found alot of oil coming out of my pcv.
