Sorry, no. You want the narrowest rims/tires you can find on all four corners. You do way too much braking up front to be relying on performance all season or summer tires.
Always plan for the worst case scenario. What someone does happen to pull out in front of you? Or someone stops short...
I hope you are replacing that pipe from the turbo to the inter cooler. That's a boost leak waiting to happen.
The car looks great. You will love the re-routed DDP...I love mine.
I finally made the spreadsheet to find out how much I have spent on my car...it scared me a bit. I have not yet reached the 300 whp mark yet but I think I will clear it after my motor rebuild (I have low compression). The advice these guys are giving you is true. I did all the required...
I'm curious to know what the bumper looks like behind the Turbo A duct. I would imagine that since it's there, you made it functional. So, how much of the bumper remains and how much do you think it affected the crash safety?
I currently have a set of Porterfield pads paired with stock rotors and I can attest to how fast they can fade. I did some hard braking from 160 km/h down to ~80 as hard as possible...by the time the car got down to 80 the braking ability left in the car was gone. If I had been in a situation...
My targa goes on and off at least 80% of the time I drive the car. It doesn't have time to work loose.:) Therefore the solution to all of your problems is to use your targa whenever the car is moving. If it's already off...it can't fly away. lol
I don't think vacuum is the problem for me, I'm getting ~20 in/Hg on my gauge. I will disassemble it in the spring and see if I can determine the issue.
I've come to the conclusion that my HKS sounds GAY below 10lbs. Anything over that and it finally stops sounding weak and chirpy. Over 10lbs it just sounds like high pressure air being released...no whistling or chirping.
I have a genuine HKS SSQV and I have pretty much the same problem as the OP. When under part throttle, building <3-4lbs, the BOV tends to flutter. Anything above that it works fine. The HKS bov's removed their adjustments so I have no way to change the spring tension. This kinda pisses me...
The 15 hrs does seem a bit high but everything on my car is seized. To the point that nothing at all turns. Every single bolt needs to be cut and pounded out. I dropped by the shop while they were doing it and it didn't look like they were having fun. lol
I wish there had been a way for me...
