I've got a hardtop. I also had a Targa supra but the car never ran. I can't compare the two but I am very happy with my hardtop. It's not like you have much choice, most of the cars are Targa (I think 86 might be HT plus the random other ones).

Who has HKS cams and did they use cam gears to adjust them? I'm pretty sure all cams have to be adjusted more than just aligning them into the center hole.

The chassis there looks beefy enough. Why do you think that putting a brace there will help?

When I did my rebuild I had two sets of everything and I still came up short sometimes.

Don't worry about the timing, it is changing because you are on the gas and the rpm is moving up and down. There have been a few other threads on this. You need to degree the cams. I had to play around with my cam gears to get my non-BC cams to idle right.

I'd go with blank rotors. Every race car I know is running blanks. Drilled is unnecessary and slotted is okay, but surface area is nice.

10 +35 with a 255 fits according to that spreadsheet while 265 and 275 do not. However, do, those people running 275s have their fenders rolled? That would probably account for this discrepancy.

Yeah, that's exactly what I plan to do with my 60mm GReddy gauges that are sitting on my floor. I was going to remove the plastic cover from the gauges though, its harder to look through 2 layers of plastic than 1.
