Eh... i wouldnt be mean to him... but you could EASILY tell if you have forged internals if you just pull a spark plug and look into the cylinders with a flash light... if its super smooth piston tops = forged. if tere bumpy and cast looking = OEM... sounds like you have quite a few...

did you up the boost? because fuel cut is based from air flow...

if anything, get a 2.25 down to the intercooler, but if you plan on upgrading to an sp61 then just get a 2.5'' with some reducers, that way its already setup for the sp61 later. as far as the outlet of the intercooler, i would just use 2.5''... you could use 2.5 up to where the 3000pipe would...

yeah, well at least he blamed it on the open DP... tranny fluid leak + hot exhaust gases = no more supra dont do it, its not at cool as you might think, if you do do that, go to an exhaust shop and buy some pipes for $20 and put it to the outside of the car or something.

for what its worth, my dad, has a 99 saab 9-3, its a turbo auto that he daily drives to work every day 120 miles . hes had DRILLED rotors and ebc pads on his car now for well over 5months... he takes his car to over 140mph, and drives like hes 16yrs old sometimes... and with him driving in CA...

what color smoke? do you loose coolant? bird cage light on? and althought it might not help directly, post up a few pictures of your engine bay, we may see something that you dont.

the way i think of it, with the SAFC, or another fuel tuning device, you could make more use of the advanced timing because you have better control over the fuel. and im sure a ported, bigger valves, cammed GE would enjoy the little bump in timing as long as it got tuned. on a street car that...
