/\ yup thats pretty much it. i have seen variations that have no raised rev limit, some that were 6750, 7500 etc it seems to be different from unit to unit for some reason.
but back on track it shouldnt be an issue with the install with the SAFC/VPC
i contacted techtom before when they were on the forums and they even told me that their upgrades are hit or miss. best bet is to watch the f/s section and ebay and look for a blitz or mines "tuned" ecu. usually runs about 400+ depending
read the description. theres a ton of typos, the measurements dont match (says 2.75 at one point then 2.5 at another) shipping is $80...the list goes on. its either a scam or its a pos. i paid more for my ebay ic by itself. pay for what ya get.
i actually have the sp61gt and i love it. great spool and i plan on hitting 400rwhp on pump with this turbo on pump gas. it really is a great turbo and do recommend it to anyone who is looking to get a nice bolt on turbo besides the ct26
For bolt on turbos:
1. SP61GT, also comes in 58 trim and a few other. Sound performance has a bunch of options depending how you want it done. Cost 1200-2300+
2. BOSS series turbo: available through SS. again a bunch of different options ranging from base 1195 to 2500+
