cap off the stock ports with caps from autozone or any other parts store. the greddy just vents to the atmo unless you reconnect it.

around 400-600 a year probibly. thats oil changes (mobil 1) plugs every 3k, and usually i break something large once a year (clutch, turbo) so depending on what it is that gave up a touch more or less. mods dont count as upkeep for me :)

do it once as a learning experience and also to see where you are power wise before starting. my base was 221rwhp. my rwhp now on low boost (15psi) has jumped to 320. also you can see what mods work and what ones dont. {shrug} its pretty cheap and gives ya something to wave around :)

i have the spec 3 and it works pretty well. the clutch actually seems to grab harder now that i have a few drag passes on it. when its warm though it can be a touch hard to engage smoothly.

there seem to be 2 types of venom injectors btw. theres the bored out stockers and then new units that use the above cores like Zach said. the bored out ones are the problem ones and the new cores are ok.

not sharp shooting but just stating a fact. he commented about how much bigger the boss550 is compared to the sp61gt. i think they are both great turbos and i think its great the amount of power you have put out with it. no offence meant man just wanted him to understand to get that turbo hes...

are you using the same AFM? also check the idle up valve on the ps pump. has a similiar problem when it went out pushing fluid into my intake manifold.... much displeasure....

/\ while this is true you need to look at flow also. you dont want to pick pipes that are going to be a restriction down the road. that said i agree with IJ as im thinking you have the piping backwards for your measurements. you are going to waste time (lag) letting those larger pipes fill...
