The intercooler is unlikely - I've got one of those too, and I drive in warmer weather without problems. It's possible there is junk accumulated between the AC condenser and the radiator. Undo the radiator mounts on the top, push the radiator back, and inspect down the crack for blockage...

SEM makes some interior paints and prep that works awesome, I've used it with great results. As for the headliner, take it to an upholstery shop and have them recover it in whatever color you want. They did a great job on mine, and it hasn't come apart.

Who cares? What's the worst case here? It's going to suck as bra material, and leave a set of nice tits out for me to inspect.

The lower window trim, as mentioned in post #2. It's almost always bad. It's held on by several nuts that are accessible once you pull the interior plastic piece. There are seals on the studs from the factory, but they are simple foam, and rarely last 20+ years.

Why replace it? They're a bitch to get at, and testing it on the car is a 10 minute job at most. The tests I suggested in post #6 are well worthwhile.

I think he's talking about dirt showing on the light color. Either that or worried about the paint job not covering the door sills, inside of the hatch, etc.

Testing the fuel lines is easy... take off the fuel return line, bolt in a hose, put it in a bucket with a known volume, fire up the pump, and use a stopwatch to figure out if it's flowing properly. Testing the FPR is pretty easy too. Take off the vacuum line and use a bicycle pump / dialed...
