Oil Leak between timing cover/head patchable?

I would suggest taking the front timing cover off. these seals are a common failure, and new ones are very inexpensive. Would you say the oil leak is runnign down the front and drops off the oil pan below the rear main seal? You truly need to take the cover off though. This will give you an...

To fit that transmission you also have to cut the tunnel for the shifter to come in, it will not directly bolt up in there.

Oil Leak between timing cover/head patchable?

When you say on the exhaust side it is burns on there. It's possibility for it to be a CPS sensor O-ring. It is very common for these to go bad and a lot of oil can stat coming out of there. 6M crank shaft Weight?

Well, I have someone that wants a 6M crank shaft, I was wondering before I disassemble the motor how much these things weigh, if someone has one and could weigh it that would be great! USPS does not ship anything over 70 pounds. I am thinking around 68-75 pounds.

Awesome to hear, did all the directions go well, did you run into any problems? Thanks, -Teal What I am going to do next is take a '89 Auto harness and write down what every color is, and what every color on each plug is. Then people will know exactly what these pins go to.
