Will a non turbo gauge cluster work for a turbo car if you have a aftermarket boost gauge, another words, do you need that boost gauge circut for the rest of the gauge cluster to work
yep, I'm looking for a gauge cluster for a "90" turbo.

THANKS

Yes it will...the boost circuit is not required for the rest of the cluster to work and it provides no input to the ECU. You will have to switch the turbo tach into the non-turbo cluster...the NA tach will not work with a turbo igniter without modification. Not 100% sure, but the speedo on a NA does not read as high MPH wise...maybe a NA guy will chime in.

I replaced my boost gauge with a NA volt meter, no problems. Did have to jump it to the correct terminals to read volts.

Problem: I shorted out my main circut board, I want to know if I can use earlier year circut board without the air bag circut, it's seperate any way form the main circut board

If's thats the case then, will a earlier year work for my ninety?? The only difference is the air bag circut. I'm not sure though.

So its possible to just buy the tach unit out of a turbo cluster and put it in the non turbo cluster? Does the year have to match?

Yes, because of the air bag circut, altought I think it's a seperate circut

you mean main circuit board, ECU? Airbag module?

What exactly are you talking about.

Yep, I mean the main circut board behind the cluster. cars with air bags need the circut for the "air bag" light, I want to know if I can use an older circut board for a newer cluster which has the circut for the air bag, I think it's possible, since it's a seperate, smaller, circut by it self.

I'm not talking about the module, or E.C.U. the circut board only

Ill look into it for you and get back to you. As long as the cluster are the same and they can adapt this circuit it should be fine.
